Our goal is to secure vital funding to support individuals and families in need, helping to ease financial burdens and improve quality of life. We focus on providing essential school supplies to students facing financial hardship, supporting the elderly, veterans, disabled, and single parents, offering burial assistance to grieving families, and helping small businesses thrive. Targeted Programs:
- Tisha's Faith School Support Program:
There are so many kids who miss out on back-to-school events because their parents can’t get them there due to no transportation or are facing issues like addiction. They start the school year without supplies, falling behind in their studies, feeling embarrassed, and being bullied. Teachers, who already give so much, often end up paying out of their own pockets. This program is designed to step in where others can't, quietly working with schools to make sure children have what they need, so they can focus on learning.
- Secret Sista Shopper:
Focused on assisting the elderly, veterans, disabled individuals, and single parents, this program provides financial support for groceries and essential items. Our goal is to help strength our community in any way we can. This program helps give back to the community by covering their expenses at checkout. We have all seen someone in a grocery lines struggling to pay, counting coins, or using multiple forms of payment just to cover their basic needs. I've even swiped my own card for strangers because I knew they needed help. This program allows us to step in and assist without putting anyone in the spotlight. There’s no need for public recognition—just kindness and support, pure and simple. It’s heartbreaking to watch people, especially the elderly and disabled, choose between medicine and food, and I believe we can do better as a community.
- In Honor of Program:
This initiative offers basic burial assistance to families who have lost a loved one unexpectedly and lack insurance coverage. By working closely with funeral homes, we help ensure that families can honor their deceased with dignity and respect, reducing the overwhelming financial burden during a time of grief. Too many people think they have time to plan for these things, but life is unpredictable, and I know the burden that falls on loved ones when they are unprepared. Our team will be working closely with the funeral homes to receive referrals for those that fit the criteria for this program.
- Mustard Seed Program:
Aimed at supporting small struggling business owners in the startup phase, this program provides financial aid without extensive bureaucratic hurdles. Our goal is to foster the growth and sustainability of small businesses, which are vital to the economic health and vibrancy of our community. There will be monthly announcements on this website along with social media when and where to apply.
